SEA Group Sponsored The Child Development Centre’s “Family Fun Sports Day”

In committing to give back to society, SEA Group whole-heartedly participate in a variety of charitable and educational activities and programs to offer help for those in need. As such, the Group sponsored the “Family Fun Sports Day” of “The Child Development Centre” (CDC), which was a games and sports event tailor-made for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The sponsored event was to promote a diversified, equal, harmonious and inclusive society in a fun and active way.

 

The “Family Fun Sports Day” was successfully held on the 4th November 2018 with over 150 children and parents who participating in the event. There were a variety of sports activities for the children and parents, including obstacle courses, a bouncy castle and games stations.

 

The SEA Group staff members and their families also joined the event as volunteers to help out with various tasks, such as the venue setup, maintaining the event order and taking photos. etc. With the help of the volunteers, all activities and games were completed safely in an enjoyable and pleasant atmosphere. Every child, parent and SEA Group staff member enjoyed a fantastic and meaningful day while the enthusiasm showed no sign of diminishing until the end.

The CDC is a non-profit organisation that provides support to a wide spectrum of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Chinese. The CDC strives to follow evidencebased practice in early year’s education. Staff members adopt an interdisciplinary approach to facilitate children’s development taking into account the children’s individual needs and the importance of parents in a child’s learning.
